Srikalaranga is dedicated to sharing the beauty of Bharatanatyam with students and rasikas alike, offering structured lessons and innovative thematic performances
The school has clearly defined for itself a few goals in its charter:
To introduce the learning of classical dance early on in a child’s development cycle, and over a lifetime, give the child an opportunity to grow and appreciate the finer, creative nuances of life, using dance, as a medium.
Adopt a holistic approach to the instruction of dance and help nurture students into confident and cultured individuals.
Provide a public platform for students to put on display their learning through original, well-researched and rehearsed annual dance productions.
Currently, Srikalaranga has close to 45 talented and enthusiastic students.The pace of learning is tailored to the potential and interest levels of each student. The school was formally started in 2004.
